Explanation Day 2021

KIST will hold an Explanation Day in October for parents interested in finding out more about the school, with a view to applying for admission for their children in the coming year. The day will be divided into two sessions: English in the morning and Japanese in the afternoon. Administration and teaching staff will be available to answer questions regarding admissions procedures, the school curriculum, progression to universities, and general features of the school. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, general tours of the school buildings and classrooms may not be conducted.

Please note that depending on the situation with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic in Tokyo, the format of Explanation Day may change. Furthermore, to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, all partipants will be required to cooperate with various procedures upon arrival and during the presentations. Families registered to participate will receive more information by e-mail at a later date.

October 23, 2021 (Saturday)

Session times: English 9:45 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (Reception opens 9:15 a.m.)
Japanese 1:15 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. (Reception opens 12:45 p.m.)
Reservations close: October 22, 2021, 3:00 p.m.
Venue: K. International School Tokyo

  • Reservations are essential and must be made in advance through the online reservation form accessible through the link below.
  • Explanation Day is for parents only. As seating is limited, please do not bring children.
  • Car parking space is not available at KIST. Please use public transport.
  • Individual families must make separate reservations. Reservations made on behalf of a group of families are not accepted.
  • Please be careful not to make double bookings. If you wish to make any changes to the details you submitted or have forgotten whether or not you have reserved a place, please contact us by e-mail.
  • After making a reservation, if you are unable to attend, please contact us by e-mail in advance to cancel your reservation.
  • To promote these events in future years, we may take photographs on the day. Please be aware that your photograph may appear in school promotional materials. Submission of a reservation indicates your agreement with this condition.
