K2A have had a wonderful start to the school year and are already settling in beautifully. Over the past week, we have been enjoying story time together each day, building not only our love of books but also our listening and speaking skills.
Two of our favourite stories so far have been We’re Going on a Bear Hunt and Shark in the Park. The children had great fun joining in with an action song to retell the bear hunt adventure, adding movement and energy to the story. When reading Shark in the Park, our classroom echoed with laughter and excitement as we used our loudest voices to warn of the shark lurking in the park!
It has been a joyful week full of stories, songs, and imagination and we can’t wait to discover even more books together.
