On September 13, six KIST students—Yurika (G9A), Hoseon (G10A), Sharika (G10B), Carys (G10B), and Elizabeth (G10B)—participated in the annual KPASS Drama Festival. The festival brought together students from various international schools in the Kanto region to collaborate on creating a piece of theatre, which was then performed on stage at Yokohama International School.

This year’s KPASS Drama Festival theme was ‘Baggage.’ It was very interesting to see how each group interpreted the word differently, whether as literal baggage or emotional baggage. Working with people from different schools really opened me up to new ideas I would never have thought of otherwise. Overall, it was an extremely fun day, and I highly recommend that anyone interested in acting or directing take part when the opportunity arises.
