To assist families planning overseas trips, the dates of school vacation periods for students and other important dates for the 2026–27 school year are listed below.
Families are asked to make arrangements accordingly to ensure that students are back in Tokyo ready to start school after each vacation period on the correct date. The complete calendar will be distributed in June 2026.

KIST Festival 2026:
October 24, 2026
Autumn vacation:
October 25–November 1, 2026
Winter vacation:
December 19, 2026–January 11, 2027
(Students return from Tuesday, January 12)
Spring vacation:
March 27–April 4, 2027
Golden Week vacation
May 3–5, 2027
Last day of school for students:
June 11, 2027
