School song

2012年6月の学校コンサートで初めて、校歌「For Tomorrow」が披露されました。世界的に有名なミュージシャンでありギタリストでもある布袋寅泰さんが特別に作ってくださった、歌いやすく、印象的なメロディーの校歌です。

一般的な校歌は、学校のプライドを高めたり、学校の良さを誇示したりすることに重点が置かれがちですが、「For Tomorrow」は、私たちが生徒にどのような人間になってほしいと願っているかを表現する、より意味のあるものを作ろうと考えました。このコンセプトのエッセンスを取り入れるため、私たちがつくりあげた歌詞には、私たちの使命とビジョンを反映させ、「明日を切り開くのは私たち自身であることを決して忘れてはならない」というメッセージを込めました。私たちが周りの人たちに支えられているように、私たちもまた他の人たちを助けなければなりません。もし私たちが他者を支え、何らかの形で周囲の人々の明るい未来を築く手助けをすることができたなら、私たちは自分自身の人生に誇りを持つことができるだろうと考えているからです。

現在世界を取り巻く混乱や不安を改善するためには、責任感と思いやりのある有能な人材が必要です。KISTの願いは、高いモラルを持った有能でアカデミックな若者を育成し、互いに協力し合うことで、自分自身や今を生きる世代だけでなく、未来を生きる人々のため、より良い世界を築こうと努力し、社会に貢献できる人材を育成することです。「For Tomorrow」はこのような願いを込めて作られた歌であり、学校コミュニティのメンバー全員にとってのインスピレーションの源として、この先もずっと愛され続けることを願っています。
