Having toured many families through our school, one of the frequently heard comments from families is that they are impressed by the warm and inviting feel of our school as well as the enthusiasm and openness of our students. Visiting KIST is the best way for you as parents to see our program in action and to feel the sense of commitment towards learning that is shared between our students and teachers. A tour will also highlight some of the important aspects of our school, our staff and our curriculum. 

Being an authorized IB World School, there is a common theme of inquiry and curiosity that lies at the heart of everything we do at KIST. This is something that is obvious from the moment that you enter our classrooms from Kindergarten to Grade 12. You will see our students involved in a range of activities that encourage them to ask questions, to challenge their thinking and to build on their understanding of the world.

As our mission statement explains, our vision for learning centers around helping students to develop responsible choices and meaningful contributions. These two ideas that are encouraged and built upon daily through the opportunities and classroom activities that we provide for all of our students.
