KIST aims to provide a school bus service to assist parents in transporting children to and from school. We are committed to providing this service only for areas and routes that can be reasonably justified in terms of cost and time. Due to the close proximity of the school campus to Kiyosumi-Shirakawa Station, bus services are not usually considered for areas easily accessible by the Tokyo subway system. The service operates as a user-pays system and is limited to registered student users only. Parents, other than those who are working as volunteer bus attendants as part of the School Support Program, are not permitted to use the bus service for any reason.
Bus routes, bus stops and fees are reviewed annually and may change from time to time. Families planning to move closer to a particular bus stop should consider this carefully before making definite commitments. There are currently three buses in operation that cover the routes and service train stations shown below. The monthly fees indicated cover regular round-trip service only. One-way service is not available. Annual charges are calculated by multiplying the monthly rate by 10 months.
